1. At the Account field, enter the account number for the account that you want to inquire about. If you are uncertain of the account number, press F3 to display your chart of accounts. Select the account you wish to inquire about and press Enter.
2. A Select An Option window will appear:
Scroll to the appropriate cost center(s) and press Enter. An asterisk (*) will appear, confirming your selection. Select EXIT to continue. If you have defined only one cost center, the system will automatically default the cost center into the Cost Center field.
3. At the Beginning and Ending Period fields, enter in the same period and year to inquire about one period, or enter a range of periods to inquire about multiple periods. Or, press Enter through both fields to accept the system default.
Note: The account inquiry displays one fiscal year of transactions at a time. It will not cross accounting years.
4. A Select A Sort Sequence window will display:
Scroll to the appropriate sort sequence and press Enter.
5. The system will now display all transactions that have affected the account/cost center within the period that you have specified. Command options will appear.
Note: If the inquiry data exceeds one page, the Prior Page(P) and Next Page(N) options will appear on the message line.
